For the very first time Viola did not have a friend sharing the seat on the bus ride to school. Yesterday was filled with disappointments. Why did friends have to move away and why did her parents have to ask some mean old man permission to spend their own money? They were grown ups not children. When she grew up she would not ask anyone, if she wanted to take a trip she would just go.
 
But at least things couldn't get any worse.
